Itajime Shibori Scarf : Indigo Blue Stripes

The Scarf

Shibori (しぼり / 絞り) is a Japanese manual resist dyeing technique, which produces a number of different patterns on fabric.  This Itajime resist dyeing technique involves folding fabric into a grid of repeating geometric shapes and applying clamps, which creates a beautiful tessellating pattern after dipping or submerging in fermented vat of plant based indigo dye. 
Shibori scarf are 100% cotton  and hand dyed.   Patterns vary from scarf to scarf, as each cushion is dyed individually therefore unique.

Use & Care
Gentle hand wash and hang dry. Wash separately.  Dry in the shade.  Iron with gentle settings.
