Intro to modern Screen printing - Brisbane

Join this exciting workshop on screen-printing and learn the art of screen printing with us.   Create your own design, we will step through the process of getting your design onto the screen and printing your design into the fabric.   

In this class, we will introduce a simplified version of screen printing using screen filler, making it accessible for beginners.  You will be using permaset water based ink and a screen-printing screen, to bring your creative design to life on a tote bag and a cotton tea-towel. There will be a wide variety of permaset fabric inks colours available to print. 

Don't worry if you're new to screen printing, this workshop is designed with beginners in mind. We will guide you through the process step-by-step, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident throughout the workshop. You'll discover the techniques behind screen printing and learn how to use screen filler as an alternative to the more traditional emulsion & exposure methods or stencil cutting. 

During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to experiment with permaset water-based inks, allowing you to create vibrant and long-lasting prints on your fabric. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting your creative journey, this class will provide you with the knowledge and skills to continue screen printing on your own.
