Make your own lampshade Workshop - Bribie Island

Learn how to make your own professionally finished lamp shade.  Take home a drum lampshade with a 30cm diameter x 22cm height.   You can make a shade for either a pendant/ceiling or lamp.  

Additional Lampshade kits are available if you want to create another lampshade.  Kits include lampshade frames, lampshade lining, tape, glue and instructions.

Lampshade Paper used on the workshop is engineered for lampshade making, Anti Static, UV Stable, Flame Retardant and has passed the Glow Wire Test carried out by the Lighting Association. It is a very safe product.

Workshop Date & Time : 6 December 2025  2-4pm

What to Bring :  Fabric: Bring your own fabric (approx  (120cm x 30cm) 

Fabric selection: Light to medium weight cotton, linen, cotton drill, or polyester cotton work best. Not Suitable Fabrics;  very loose weave, stretchy, coarse texture, or uneven grain

Fabric purchase: Fabric can also be purchased from Suzanne at Imprint Corner, where a range of suitable options is available.
